Human Resources Management Certificate (BUS 800)
The HRM Certificate teaches the skills and knowledge required to successfully manage the human resources in today's complex business environment. The program combines technical knowledge with skillbuilding in areas like managing a diverse workforce, conflict resolution, compensation and benefits, and employee development. Whether you are a seasoned professional looking for a systematic review of Human Resource Management, a professionals whose primary training has been on-the-job or a manager who needs current, specialized knowledge, the nine-module, 36-hour HRM Certificate will help you on the job. Wine Business Professional Development Courses
In today's wine industry, education is vital for success. New ideas, pragmatic concepts for wine businesses and practical ways to be more effective in areas like wine marketing and sales, industry regulations and compliance, winery and vineyard accounting and finance, hospitality management and business planning. Taught by Institute faculty and experienced guest lecturers from the industry, the half-day courses offer just-in-time learning. Learn more.
Tasting Room Management Certificate
The Tasting Room Management Certificate prepares tasting room staff for more responsibility through studies of best practice in direct shipping, staffing, marketing, wine club management, database management, sales, budgeting, and customer relationship management. Wine Entrepreneurship Program
You may have mused about starting a wine business or repositioning your career in it. Yet it's still a very difficult time for many in the industry. "Wine Entrepreneurship" will make a big difference to the success of those who take part. Led by industry pros like Ray Johnson and Michael Mondavi, the focus of the course is the development of a business plan that new entrepreneurs can apply to current and future opportunities. You will choose your method - online with credit card payment or offline by fax or mail - then you'll be prompted to enter pertinent information, including the term for which you are registering and the class number.
