Position:
Telemarketer (part-time)
FacilitaIT is looking for a junior or senior business major who:
¬ has data entry skills
¬ is reliable, confident, aggressive, persuasive and
focused;
¬ possesses exceptional communication skills; and
¬ has the poise and confidence to become an Account
Manager.
Students
will learn:
¬ the single most important skill needed for business
development; and
¬ how to quote our products and basic selling skills.
Compensation:
$18/hour plus $25 per business that attends one of our seminars for total
compensation in the low $20Ős
If
telemarketers are successful at cold calling, do a good job quoting and have
the poise and confidence to become an Account Manager, they will earn $60+
their first year, $70-$80k their second year, and around $100k by their fourth
year in an industry that many people find to be very rewarding on a financial
and personal level.
Overview
of Job/Internship:
This
position is responsible for booking qualified clients to our free educational
seminars. Our goal in these seminars is to educate businesses in technologies
that might be beneficial to them. These seminars are often co-hosted by Cisco
Systems.
This is a very good way to
learn what it takes to be an Account Manager (AM) in the IT field. You will
work daily with our Account Managers and our Account Managers build a client
base the same way.
