Stag`s Leap Wine Cellars is a joint venture of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Antinori California in the Stags Leap District of the Napa Valley. We are best known for our Cabernet Sauvignons: CASK 23, S.L.V., FAY, and Artemis our Napa Valley proprietary blend, which are among the most highly regarded Cabernets in the world. Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars oversees estate vineyards, 65% of which are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. We also produce Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Merlot from estate vineyards and grower vineyards in the Napa Valley.

Job Descriptions:

Grape Maturity Samplers will be responsible for berry and cluster sampling for both estate and grower vineyards throughout Napa Valley. Duties will also include sample processing and recordkeeping. Over the course of the harvest, the duties will evolve to include tank/barrel sampling, laboratory analysis, and nutrient additions. This position is a great opportunity to see a variety of vineyard sites, and experience wine processing from the vineyards through fermentation.

Qualifications:

Grape Maturity Samplers - These individuals will need to be able to lift, bend, stoop, carry (up to 35 lbs) over a variety of terrain and weather conditions, and use pruning shears. Must have reliable transportation, current insurance, a valid driver’s license, and a clean DMV record. Mileage will be reimbursed. This position requires knowledge of basic computer programs including Excel.
