University Based Scholarships
University Scholarship Program Scholarships
Sonoma State University offers several scholarship programs. The merit-based University Scholarship Program is the largest one, requiring a single application. The application consists of a narrative, two letters of recommendation, and the online application submission. You must be an applicant, already accepted, or a current student at SSU in order to apply for a university scholarship. Formal admission to SSU is not required. The application period begins September 15th for the next academic year. The deadline to submit the materials is January 15. Click here to begin the application process.Presidential Scholar Program
In addition to the above program, SSU also guarantees a $1,000 Presidential Scholar Program for incoming freshmen who have a cumulative weighted 4.0 g.p.a. or above for their sophomore, junior and first semester senior years. The g.p.a. calculation does not include P.E. courses but does allow for weighting of courses according to your high school's policy.
