AKD Honor Society Initiates (May 2007) The Sociology Department is pleased to announce that the following Sociology students were initiated into Alpha Kappa Delta, International Honor Society in Sociology, Phi of California Chapter. AKD was founded in 1920 and has chapters at universities across the United States and world. Students with outstanding academic records in the study of Sociology may apply for membership each year in late Fall or early Spring. Keep an eye out for applications!
2007 AKD Initiates: Spring 2006, AKD Initiates The Sociology Department is pleased to announce that the following Sociology students were initiated into Alpha Kappa Delta, International Honor Society in Sociology, Phi of California Chapter. AKD was founded in 1920 and has chapters at universities across the United States and world. Its purpose is to promote the scientific study of society and to encourage fellowship among those engaged in such study. Students who have outstanding academic records in the study of Sociology are invited to apply for membership. Requests for applications appear each year in late Fall or early Spring semesters, so if you are interested, keep your eyes open for application deadlines. 2006 AKD Initiates:
