Sharon J. Washington, PhD, has over 17 years experience facilitating workshops on issues of equity and inclusion in higher education, not for profit organizations and K-12 schools. She's currently the Interim Director of Faculty Equity Programs at the University of California Office of the President. Prior to her UCOP appointment Sharon has been a tenured faculty member at Kent State University and Springfield College, served as the provost at Spelman College, and worked as the Special Assistant to the President for Diversity Initiatives at Bennett College for Women. Dr. Washington has a Ph.D. in Education from The Ohio State University.
