The School of Social Sciences is committed to enhancing the major advising experience by developing tools to help students plan out their class schedules with an advisor. To this end, the School of Social Sciences is posting a preliminary Schedule of Spring 2015 classes to give faculty and students an idea of what will be offered by the departments in the School of Social Sciences.

Recent Curriculum Development in the School of Social Sciences
The School of Social Sciences is pleased to announce the pilot year of the Sophomore Year Experience (SYE) in 2013-2014. This program, directed to second-year SSU students and incoming transfer students, is designed to help bridge the gap between the first year (or previous institution) and what comes next.
Social Sciences Contribution to University Wide General Education Pattern
The University Wide General Education Program at SSU investigates the complexity of human experience in a diverse natural and social world, and promotes informed and ethical participation as citizens of the world. Departments within the School of School of Social Sciences contribute to both the Lower Division GE Course offerings and Upper Division GE Course offerings.
