Overview/Description
The Board of Directors is the legally constituted body responsible for the operations budget and general policies of the Corporation.
The Board is comprised of 15 members, eight of whom are current SSU students. The other seven members are faculty, staff, and one alumnus. By tradition, a student serves as chair of the Board. The Board approves the annual operating budget, reviews and sets policy, and addresses pertinent issues associated with the Corporation. All members of the Board have full voting rights and privileges regarding all business of the Board.
The Board meets 4-5 times each semester, usually on Friday afternoons. Meetings are approximately 90 minutes. Typically, meetings are not scheduled during the summer.
