A: The Student Center is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2013, weather permitting.
- Q: “How big will the Student Center be?”
A: The Student Center facility will be approximately 130,000 square feet.

- A re-imagined dining experience
- Lounge and recreation areas
- Student-focused retail services
- The largest ballroom in Sonoma County
- A larger Bookstore
- Increased space for student clubs and organizations

- Q: “Will there be new dining options?”
A: Yes! The new Residential Dining Room will be a completely re-envisioned dining experience including multiple stations and a variety of seating options. It will serve as the main eating facility for members of the campus community who have a meal plan, and for other staff, faculty, and students to eat at on a pay-per-visit basis.
The Retail Dining Area will include a home-style kitchen area, along with a sandwich station, a coffee shop, and the new Pub.
- Q: “What will happen to the old buildings (Housing, Dining Hall, Bookstore, Student Union) once they move over to the Student Center?”
A: The Housing Office in Zinfandel will likely be repurposed as a Residential Life support area, similar to the Service Desk in Tuscany Village.
The Zinfandel Dining Hall may be turned over to The Children’s School, and the Student Union building will most likely be converted into office space for faculty.
- Q: “What are the projected operating hours of the Student Center?”
A: The actual times are still under review, but it will likely be from early in the morning until late at night.
