Student Organizations
Associated Student Productions
Associated Students Productions (ASP) provides event and programming opportunities for the students of Sonoma State University. ASP offers a wide variety of events each year, both on- and off-campus. ASP events include comedy shows, films, lectures, theatre art productions, free bowling nights and a host of other fun filled activities.
Currently, ASP is severely limited in their ability to offer programs and events due to insufficient space. The increased space offered at the Student Center will dramatically add to the organization’s ability to meet the programmatic needs of our campus.
Associated Students
Associated Students is a student-run auxiliary organization of Sonoma State University. The Associated Students is a corporation owned and governed by students and supports a variety of programs, services and organizations to enhance the student experience at Sonoma State University. The new Student Center will provide the space, environment, and community needed to better meet the educational and social needs of the Sonoma State student community.
CSLIS
The student activities center will bring the campus partners that offer student life programs together in a functional way. CSLIS will have a central place in which to work and focus their collaborations, which will produce a more active and meaningful campus life.
JUMP
Join Us Making Progress (JUMP) is the co-curricular service learning branch of the Associated Students. JUMP utilizes a student run and staff supported leadership model. As a student run non-profit JUMP coordinates SSU volunteers, inspires and develops new student leaders, and builds community partnerships. Their new home in the Student Center will offer a space that will help them meet their mission goals of providing Sonoma State University students the opportunity for personal growth, leadership, and education through service to the campus and the community.
