About the Program
The program meets for 6 Saturdays. There are two program cycles per year.
January 26 - June 21, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, First CycleJuly 19 - December 20, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Second Cycle
The six class sessions cover the following major topic areas:
- Ecological Principles (January and July)
- Site Assessment and Development (February and August)
- Soil Resources (March and September)
- Water Resources (April and October)
- Plants and Plant Communities (May and November)
- Operation, Land, and Maintenance (June and December)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to students who:
1. Attend all 6 class sessions and
2. Complete a Student Project/Practicum
Students have one year in which to complete all of the program requirements.
Students enroll and pay for each class sessions and do not have to pursue
the full certificate in order to attend a class session.

Registering for a class:
To register for classes, first go to appropriate catalogue and obtain course number, fees and credit information. You then can either complete and print then mail or fax the Extended Education registration form or call the registration office at (707) 664-2394.
