Welcome to SSU Testing Services

SSU is a certified testing site for proctoring exams. Sonoma State Testing Services administers the following fixed scheduled tests: EPT-ELM, GRE, LSAT, & MPRE exams. The TEAS Test is administered by the Nursing Dept. The SSU Testing Office only administers tests and does not provide advising nor interpretation of tests or policy for admissions purposes.

PROCTORING SERVICES
SSU offers test PROCTORING services for online paper/computer based type of tests like BYU, CLEP, DANTES, certifications, on-demand based testing services etc. The SSU Proctoring fee, aside from the exam fee itself, is a flat rate of $25.00. Sessions are only during the following time-frames by appointment only. Please inquire at least 3 days in advance to possibly secure a date.

GRE: (Graduate Record Exam) - Paper Subject Tests Only

LSAT & MPRE: (Law School Admissions Test and Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam)

*Students must have a picture ID and the hard-copy/printout of their Admissions Ticket. Students will not be admitted without it.

EPT/ELM: (English Placement Test and Entry Level Math)
*** Take your EPT-ELM early before May to secure scores for Orientation***
If you do not have scores by your Orientation, you may not be allowed to register for MATH and/or ENGL.

TESTING SESSIONS:
(This session is intended specifically only for SSU students needing scores that, for various reasons could not take the exams by the time of their Orientation.)

November 15, 2014 - (Deadline to Register: November 3, 2014 midnight)

The EPT/ELM tests are CSU system-wide exams that can be taken at any available CSU Campus near you. See ETS Bulletin or individual campus testing website for dates, times and registration details.

STAND-BYS
For the EPT-ELM exams at Sonoma, we do allow STAND-BYS to come to see if there will be any NO-SHOWs. There is NO Guarantee of being admitted. It is not first-come, first-serve. If there are more Stand-bys than available slots, seats will be given out by a raffle. Place and times depends on test type. Report to Darwin Hall Lobby area. See times above.

Each test cost $18 dollars (NO CASH). Bring 'pre-printed' check or money order and payable to 'ETS.' NO Cash can be accepted. Write your name on the Memo Line. Bring picture ID and pencils. All Remediation questions may be asked of the Compliance and At Risk Coordinator that is in charge of answering questions and/or addressing inquiries regarding Remediation at SSU. This could mean some inquiries are forwarded to the appropriate persons.
