This semester I teach "Acting Fundamentals," and Shakespeare in the "Acting Block.” As Director of the Acting Program, I teach acting classes from fundamentals to advanced scene study in the upper division Block program, including studies in Shakespeare, Büchner, Brecht and Chekhov. One of my favorite activities in the Department is directing productions in our season of plays.
I also serve as the University’s Director of Sustainability I also head the department's marketing efforts. From 2005-2012 I served as Department Chair and from 2001-2006 as Chair of General Education at the university-wide level.

Paul Draper served as resident director with the Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis and taught at the Universities of Tennessee and Minnesota, where he has twice been a Guest Artist with the University of Minnesota/ Guthrie Theatre BFA Acting Program (2007, 2012). He is a member of the Association of Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE) and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC.)
