Preface

When comprehensive final examinations or the due date for papers or take home finals culminating a semester's study are scheduled for the last week of regular instruction, the affected students' attendance and attention in other classes is often disrupted. These students may be effectively denied days of instruction in the several courses.

Policy

The final examinations in courses that utilize this form of evaluation shall be scheduled for the time during the Final Examination period assigned to the course. Final papers or take home finals required in lieu of a final course examination shall be due at the scheduled exam time.

Exceptions to this policy require the approval of the Dean of the School.
