Faculty, staff and students are invited to the Town Hall Meeting on the WASC Accreditation Process.This is an opportunity for the Campus Community to learn about accreditation, provide your comments and input, and get your questions answered about the WASC process, such as:
• What is the educational effectiveness review?
• What does accreditation mean for SSU?
• What are your questions, concerns and comments about the accreditation process?
• What can you do to support the university’s efforts?
To read an overview of the university’s approach to the educational effectiveness review in advance, see the link below.Then come to the Town Hall and join our panelists, Provost Eduardo Ochoa, Political Science Professor Andy Merrifield, and Academic Senate Chair Scott Miller, in an interactive session on accreditation.
The session will be videotaped and available at this site (see right-hand column) asap after the event.
Town Hall Meeting on the New faces of Research and Sponsored Programs at SSU

Description: In the last few years the structure of support for grants and contracts has been improved. The new structure will be presented for campus community comment. Description: Communicate the status of the campus diversity efforts. Presenters: Eduardo Ochoa and representatives of the Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Diversity, the President’s Diversity Council and the Affirmative Action Committee of the California Faculty Association (SSU chapter).
