Samuel Scalise is Chief Information Officer at Sonoma State University. He also serves as Chair of the California State University Systems Technology Alliance. Sam has managed Sonoma’s implementation of the Technology Infrastructure Initiative, the PeopleSoft Technology for CMS, the technology development of the Schulz Information Center, and personalized technology support using GeoTeams.
During Sam’s tenure, The Princeton Review recognized Sonoma as one of the Top 25 Most Connected Campuses, and Intel identified Sonoma as one of the Most Unwired Campuses.
Before coming to Sonoma, Sam worked at the University of California, Berkeley for 17 years as Director of Computer Resources. Sam received a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley in Soil Science.
