Thought Papers (You can dowload
this assignment here) |
|
You
will be asked to write two thought papers based on watching
movies related to abnormal psychology issues. You will have
to choose your movies from the list provided in class. Each
thought paper will be 5-7 pages in length and will be graded
based on clarity and quality of writing, as well as, creativity
of ideas. More information about the content of the papers
will be provided during class. You will be required to hand
in a draft for each paper and will receive feedback about
your writing. Final versions of both papers will be due on
the last day of class. |

Weekly Quizzes |
|
There
will be 10 non-cumulative quizzes, 10 points each. Each quiz
will include readings assigned for that day. Foreign language
dictionaries will not be allowed during quizzes, but all students
may ask for assistance with words that are not technical,
psychological terms. Only 8 out of 10 quiz scores will go
toward your final grade. This means that you can miss one
quiz or drop one of your lowest scores. If you take all 10
quizzes, Dr. Atlis will drop the two lowest scores for you
automatically as she calculates your final grade. |
