DRC Projects:

stir plate

Some times even a brand new piece of equipment isn't good enough. The DRC can re-engineer equipment ("Frankensteining" the kids call it). Non standard use of this stirring hot plate meant opening it up.

A simple rearrangement it the magnets that run the stir rod we we able to stir the etching solution in Dr Shi's nano research process. A wider separation of the magnets was necessary.
