Dear Friends: In January of 2010, after 41 years of at Sonoma State University, I moved from regular faculty to Emeritus status. I am no longer teaching regular classes, although I may occasionally do special workshops. As a result, I am no longer actively maintaining the materials below. Nonetheless, you may find some of them useful. I will maintain this website to whatever degree I have the time. (Don't miss the new Matrix Mediations website.)
   
GESTALT THERAPY AND GESTALT PSYCHOLOGY. Lecture notes include the history of Gestalt Psychology and Gestalt Therapy and Kurt Lewin's Field Theory. There are links to a spectrum of historic and contemporary online articles.

ASIAN AND TRANSPERSONAL PSYCHOLOGIES. Notes and links on yogic traditions and psychologies, Buddha's original teachings, Buddhist traditions including Zen and Vipassana, Taoist and Confucian traditions, Sufi teachings, Jesus' original teachings, and more.
 
HISTORY OF PSYCHOLOGY. SOCIAL FIELD ANALYSIS. This is a unique new approach to understanding social phenomena, still under development. It synthesizes elements of field theory, general systems theory, and Gestalt psychology.  
 
DISCLAIMER: For the benefit of my students I have posted many of my lecture notes, written quickly for my own use, complete with numerous typos that I have not had time to correct. These are open to the public and you take them as they are. I have visited and reviewed all sites above to which links are posted, and in many cases have provided a sentence or two of commentary on the site. Items at this site are of varying quality. You may find some dead links on pages that I have not reviewed recently.
