I am looking at the two novels, Things Fall Apart and The Good Earth as essentially the same story from two different cultures. I am about half way through the Good Earth and Wang Lung is definitely the Everyman who is confronted with all the struggles that a person must go through in a life time. This is a morality play for sure. Okonkwo is slighly more angst ridden but the theme is similar. These are just some preliminary thoughts ahead of schedule to test this new technology.
