Super Ts

I also read an article about a procedure for making super T cells. This was in reference to malignant melanoma so I don't know if it has been tried for HIV. With melanoma the problem is recognition/evasion of the body's immune system and with HIV the problem is the virus kills off T cells. The process involves removing a blood sample from the patient and then separating and culturing out the T cells that have recognised the the melanoma and then putting these super Ts back into the patient. Now you have a large population of Ts that recognize the abnormal cells and are specific for the persons particular type of tumor cells. I would think something like this could potentially be effective against HIV.
