Vaccines Stage a Comeback

In this article from Time, researchers have found ways of using vaccines for more than just protection against viral infections. Recent advances in technology have allowed scientists to unlock the hidden mysteries of the human immune system never seen before. They have been able to break down the steps that the immune system goes through to fight against pathogens in the body. With this they are able to come up with new ways of fighting diseases such as cancers and heart diseases, as well as viral infections, that don’t have any vaccine yet, by manipulating the immune system with new vaccines.
