Welcome to Natural Disasters! I am Dan Karner, and I am an Associate Professor in the Sonoma State Geology Department. If you are considering taking this course, read about my teaching philosophy. Here is my scientific background and a list of my publications.

This is a bare-bones website that I have set up to give you access to my lecture materials, and to post announcements, midterm review lists, etc. I suggest you review your notes regularly, and keep up on the reading!
