Bishop Score


How is this used? To determine how likely a woman is to go into labor or how "inducible" her cervix is now. Can we put her into labor? What's "favorable"? 9/13 for primiparas and 5/13 for multiparas. If 4 or less the cervix needs to "ripen" before induction with Pitocin begins. What would the Bishop score be? Midpostion, medium, 70%, dilated 1 cm. -1 station. What might be the plan be if she is 42 weeks and here for an induction? Would the plan be different if she is a multip or a primip?
