The purpose of this paper is for you to think over and delve deeper into one of the main topics that we have discussed in class. Do NOT take on an entirely new topic
The paper (at least 2-3 pages) should address a problem, and at least one major theoretical viewpoint towards that problem that we have discussed in class. Clarify how that pertains to your particular topic. You should cite at least 2-3 of the assigned readings.
You should incorporate a new case study or a new idea, citing at least one new reading.

5) Annotated Bibliography
4-5 references
For each reference, 3-4 sentences explaining the type of information you expect to draw from the reference, and how it contributes to your topic

2. Structure

If no, identify one subheading and describe the content within it that does not fit
c. On the back of this piece of paper, write an outline of the paper
d. After analyzing the outline, suggest how the structure might be adjusted to strengthen the paper
3. Thesis and Conclusions
a. In the paper, underline and “star” the paper’s thesis statement
b. Is this thesis statement clear, easy to find, and strong? Y N
If no, provide a suggestion on how the thesis might be strengthened
c. In the paper, identify the three most important pieces of evidence to support the thesis. Number them in the margin and circle the numbers 1, 2, 3
d. Does the paper arrive at clear conclusions that support the thesis statement? Y N
