1) Presentation Rules
- 1. No more than 5 minutes
- 2. No more than 8 slides
- 3. Show this key information in the slides:
- a. Title
- b. The Question / Thesis Statement
- c. Evidence, or categories of evidence
- d. Conclusions
2) Evaluation of Research
- 1. The question / Thesis is clear
- 2. The evidence is directly related to the question / thesis
- 3. Adequate information was provided to understand the conclusions
3) Presentation Style
- 1. Progression of information is clear and logical
- 2. Slides support, but bud do not dominate the presentation
4) Non-verbal Communication
- 1. Looks at the audience, not at the slides or notes
- 2. Speaks loudly and clearly
- 3. Movements do not distract from the presentation
