Description
Economic globalization and the war on terrorism have strengthened linkages and increased interactions between world regions. Understanding other regions' physical and human geographic context has become increasingly critical. For each world region in turn, we investigate its economic, political, demographic, cultural and environmental landscapes with considerable historical depth. With this broader understanding, we examine the role that different regions are playing in the new global economy. We also consider each region's transforming political relationship to the United States in this post-Cold War Era.
