N312 Course Information

Course Description:

This course provides a bridge between the student's educational experience in nursing at the community college level and that at the university. The course uses "web-based instruction" as a principal teaching-learning strategy. Course participants are introduced to RN-BSN education by using the World Wide Web to develop and post a series of self-assessment essays. Students develop skill individually and in groups at using technology and other learning methodologies that will aid them in higher education. The course introduces students to the theoretical foundations of professional nursing.

3. use technology and learning methodologies effectively to aid them in pursuing their university education, e.g., library resources for information access, APA style sheet, and computer technology.
