Learning Activity 06, Step 1, for Part 6

Learning Activity 06: Step 1 Complete by end of the 1st week of Part 06: Directions: Students have been randomly selected into numbered groups. Click HERE to find your group. Each group will have a Workroom in WebCT to use for discussing the work of your critique (Group One will have Workroom One, Group Two will have Workroom Two, and so on. Only the members of your group can go into a group's workroom.) Each group selects a research article to critique from Peteva, A cross section of nursing research. Only one group to an article. The first person listed in each group posts the article title in Learning Activities for Part 6 (Nurs 400A or Nurs 400B). When you've claimed your article by posting its title, no other group may use it for this class.  Each group works together to critique the article. Use the guidelines at the end of each chapter throughout the text in Polit, Beck & Hungler. to develop your critique. The examples of critiques on pp. 422-426 will give you an idea of how to approach this assignment. Use the Workrooms in WebCT to discuss your article with the members of your group, and to prepare your critique. Select one person in the group to edit the final critique so that it reads coherently and seamlessly (not like a cut/pasted patchwork quilt!). Then post the critique in Learning Activities 06 for Part 6 (Nurs 400A or Nurs 400B).
