At least ten meetings of the semester will be devoted to presentations by faculty and staff from all areas of the University who will focus on moments of significant personal learning.

Class meetings will provide an opportunity for students to identify their own learning style preference, and to explore the implications of adult learning theory to their academic career.

In order to receive a credit grade, class members will:

- Attend class and participate in discussion (3 absences or less).
- Write a 2-page reaction paper on each of 4 class presentations with 2 of
these papers to be turned in by mid-term.
- Write a 4-page paper to identify and describe a significant learning
moment in your own life. This paper will be due 2 weeks before finals.
