Headed to Northern Europe
Once again I have the privilege of serving as a lecturer aboard the MV Explorer, home to Semester at Sea and this Coastal Cultures of the West Enrichment Voyage. As you'll see from the itinerary (we're on Segment II and III), this trip allows me to take a first hand look at sustainable practices in European cities who are leading the way. While at sea I will be lecturing on my Ecological Handprints research, model examples in cities along our route, the rapid advance of solar in Germany, and inspirational stories of students who were inspired to action by a Semester at Sea.
