Tracking Everyday Experiences with Authorities

This project is a federally funded research project that investigates people's everyday experiences with authorities. Research investigations of construction workers, criminal defendants, lawyers and employees in large organizations suggest that interactions with group authorities shape people's feelings about themselves and their willingness to help the group. However, all this research is based on a single interaction with an authority. The purpose of this project is to learn more about people's concrete, natural and spontaneous interactions with authorities over time.
