Grade Option #1

10%-         Attendance:     1 unexcused absence  = B

                                          2 unexcused absences = C

                                          3 unexcused absences = F

10%-         Satisfactory* reaction papers:   

10 = A              9 = B               8 = C              7 = F

40%-         Midterm Exam

40%-         Final Exam

Grade Option #2

80%-         Attendance and Participation in a discussion/support group outside of class hours.  Criteria and weights (%) will be developed by the group and

the discussion group facilitator for the following categories:

·      Attendance

·      Participation

·      Reaction papers

·       

Guidelines for Group Participation

 

10%-         Midterm Exam

10%-         Final Exam

22 Census Date

22 Last day to file grade appeal from previous semester

23 - Nov. 12 Petition to Withdraw from a Class w/$20 administrative fee (dropping classes permitted because of serious and compelling reasons only)

4 Last day to drop all classes and receive pro-rated cancellation of fees

12 Last day to completely withdraw from the university (with no refund)
