Study/Support
Groups: Students
will be organized into small study/support groups that will be responsible for
discussing the readings and presentations and exchanging feedback on writing
assignments. Study/support groups will initially consist of three
students who commit to meet for at least one hour outside of class.
Groups may be reorganized if interest clusters emerge out of the class process.

Each unexcused absence will reduce this grade by 2 grade points. (1

All written work will be submitted in a portfolio at the end of the semester. (Failure to submit the portfolio will result in a 1.0 grade point deduction from the calculated grade.)
