1. Your portfolio should include all of the written work you have completed this semester. See the PORTFOLIO CHECK-LIST & TABLE OF CONTENTS handed out in class. Recycled assignments should include all of the drafts submitted. Place the "Evaluation Criteria" sheets in front of all material for that assignment.
2. The portfolio should be in a folder, binder, report cover, etc., according to your aesthetic preference. It should be neat and easy to handle.
3. The written material should be in chronological order, except that there should be a summary/self-evaluation at the front.
4. There will be the following pieces of writing that I have not yet seen:
1. A personal statement/self and class evaluation. This can be a couple of pages. The primary purpose of the self-evaluation is for you to review and integrate your learning process this semester. You may also use it communicate to me about aspects of the course which did or did not work for you.2. The individual "Who Am I?" paper for Study Guide #4.
3. New recycled papers. If there are new recycled papers, please make sure the Study Guide and Assignment numbers are listed at the bottom of the PORTFOLIO CHECK-LIST & TABLE OF CONTENTS.
GRADING: The portfolio will be graded on the basis of completeness, neatness, quality of organization (easy to handle, materials easy to locate, etc.), and thoughtfulness of the self-evaluation.
