30% RESEARCH PLAN PREPARATION & PRESENTATION

All classwork to date in preparation for field research and formal research plan presentation. Students will not be approved to go into the field to conduct formal research until they have achieved a grade of "A" on their proposal.

20% PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT GROUP

The grade for this portion of the course will be based on a contract for the student's part in the project management group's plan. Boosters and Historians will contract with Larry. Webmasters will contract with Art.

50% GLEN ELLEN RESEARCH & REPORT

30% Data Gathering

  • Complete and up-to-date research journal/log
  • Identifying and following up community sources
  • Good questions and follow up
  • Good rapport with sources
  • Found the information that should be available
  • Located appropriate documents
  • Timely submission of documents to be posted

10% Oral Report

  • Attendance required, Thursday, December 14th, 7-8:30 at Mayflower Hall, Glen Ellen
  • Well organized
  • Clear presentation of the information
  • Good audience contact
  • Good use of visuals, props, etc.

10% Written Report

  • Well organized
  • Clear presentation of the information
  • Apprppriate tables, graphs & charts
  • Grammar, spelling, style
  • Clear and accurate documentation of sources of information
