Homework is the most important part of the course. If you keep up with the homework you will probably do well. The midterms will measure how well the students have mastered the material on the homework. The final exam will be comprehensive.
All material on the tests and homework will be covered in class, but some of these topics may not be in the text.
The term paper will be a two page reaction paper in which you will tell how you were able to relate the topics in the course to your daily life. The paper will be graded on grammar, spelling, and punctuation. The paper must be either typed or printed by a word processor.
Students will need to have either a graphing or scientific calculator. While graphing calculators are recommended, scientific calculators will be allowed.
Students are responsible for announcements made in class.
The final exam is the deadline for all late work.
