7. Construction of a pentagram from a golden rectangle: method 1.
We start with a golden rectangle.
Both the ADFE and BCFE are golden rectangles. We form the top point of our star with ADFE.
ABCD is a square, and ADFE is a golden rectangle. Swing EF about E and AD about A until they meet at a point G. EAG is the top of our 5 pointed star. Extend BE until it meets the circle centered at E.
Call that point H. Next draw the circle centered at E with radius EB.
Extend EG until it meets the circle at I. Do the same thing at A.
We now have all of the points in the outside of our pentagram.
