The provisions in this syllabus are tentative and may be changed by announcements made in class. Students are responsible for all assignments and announcements made in class.
Homework is the most important part of the course. If you keep up with the homework you will probably do well. The midterms will measure how well the students have mastered the material on the homework. The projects will be group activities done outside of class. The final exam will be comprehensive.
All material on the tests and homework will be covered in class, but some of these topics may not be in the text.
Students will need to have a graphing calculator.
