Vans leave at 9am in front of Police Services. Most people live here their whole lives and never walk across the bridge! Come be a part of this walk, enjoy the amazing views and meet new people! Do you want to start a new club/organization? Are you looking to recharter a club that used to be active at SSU? Is the current charter for your group about to expire? Make sure that your president and treasurer attends a club chartering meeting. This is a requirement to be officially recognized by SSU. You will get lots of information about the process, what the benefits are, and what you need to do. The deadline for Fall Chartering is Friday, September 14 2012

- Spoken Word with Josh Healey at 8PM Ives 101-FREE
Josh Healey is a nat ionally recognized writer, performer, and activist for the twin causes of laughter and liberat ion. A cultural organizer, Healey has shared stages and picket lines with Amiri Baraka, Naomi Klein, and Flavor Flav. Healey has been feat ured in the New York Times, Al-Jazeera, and is a regular contributor to Snap Judgment on NPR. In 2011, he received the Mario Savio Young Activist Award, delivering his acceptance speech and poem in front of 10,000 people at Occupy Cal.
