- Outdoor Pursuits Berkeley Bouldering Trip $13; Meet at the Flagpole
Come climb with Outdoor Pursuits! This is a great chance to get outside and climb on some local rock. Located in the heart of Berkeley, this spot offers awesome bouldering for all levels! We provide experienced guides, transportation from SSU, lunch, bouldering pads, and rock climbing shoes if needed. If you're tired of pulling on plastic in the gym, are looking to climb with some new folks, and want to explore more local climbing areas, then this trip is for you.

In this presentation, Amanda Diva breaks down why hip-hop not only belongs in academia as a cultural form worthy of study, but why it is an essential tool for education and a critical part of discussing the current social sphere of America. Amanda Diva has the voice of a true hip-hop head as former host of MTV's Sucka Free Sundays, and is a scholar on the culture with a Masters in African American studies from Columbia University with a concentration in hip-hop.
