ASP Poetry Slam Featuring Carlos Andres Gomez at 7:30PM The Pub-FREE
Carlos Andres Gomez is an award-winning writer and performer from New York City and the author of the coming of age memoir, “Man Up.” He is a Russel Simmons HBO Def Poet and two-time Internat ional Poetry Slam Champion. His work draws at tention to challenging and often ignored social issues and delivers an empowering message built on the belief that everyone is "distinctly beautiful." This event is in honor of Nat ional Hispanic Heritage Month. FREE
