Gala Choral Event at Weill Hall to Benefit Local Food Bank

A regional honor choir of high school singers will bring the size of the combined choruses to more than 120 singers.
"I wanted to do an event that will both build community and give back to the community," Bent said. The program selections reflect a bountiful theme, including Aaron Copland's beloved "The Tender Land," and "Ubi Caratas" (Where Charity and Love Are) by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo.

Tickets are $15 general; $12 SSU faculty, alumni and staff; $10 seniors and students. SSU students are admitted free with ID.This event is part of the department's eight-concert Fall Subscription Series in Weill Hall. Weill Hall at Sonoma State University is located at the Green Music Center, near the intersection of Rohnert Park Expressway and Petaluma Hill Road. Parking is available in Lots O and L.
