A regional honor choir of high school singers will bring the size of the combined choruses to more than 120 singers.

"I wanted to do an event that will both build community and give back to the community," Bent said. The program selections reflect a bountiful theme, including Aaron Copland's beloved "The Tender Land," and "Ubi Caratas" (Where Charity and Love Are) by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo.

A food drive organized by choir members is currently underway in the Green Music Center education building. People can drop off canned goods at GMC 1028. For information contact Kathleen Barnes at (805) 791-5659 or barnekat@seawolf.sonoma.edu.
