It is Time to Sign Up for 2013 Commencement

Join our Graduates and their Families on Saturday, May 11

Commencement is a special day when our students celebrate their achievements with friends and family. The success of the day depends entirely on the teamwork of SSU employees; those people who interact and support students throughout their years with us.

This year, the 9 a.m. ceremony is for the Schools of Arts & Humanities, Business & Economics and Education graduates. The 3 p.m. ceremony celebrates graduates of the Schools of Science & Technology and Social Sciences.

As a reminder, all managers are required to work on Commencement day.

Exempt staff (non-MPPs) are encouraged to work Commencement. Managers of exempt staff may authorize informal time off in accordance with staff bargaining contracts. Exempt staff should e-mail their job preference to Please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan staffing, but no later than Friday, March 29.
