Digital Image Primer Workshop
There is room for two more people in the Digital Image Primer Workshop on Thursday, Feb. 13 from noon to 12:50 pm. Karen Kessel, Visual Resources Specialist for the Art Department, teaches this workshop for SSU students, faculty and staff who need to use digital images in e-portfolios, student papers, presentations, or online publications, but are not very familiar with digital technology. Topics covered will be: the differences between the most common file formats and when to use which, tools for organizing and finding your images, naming your image files, maintaining color fidelity, and appropriate file sizes, with a hands-on demonstration of how to quickly resize batches of images. This fast-paced session will be held in Art 107, around the corner from the Art Gallery. The session on Friday, March 28 is full. If you would like to attend the February 13 session, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
