Digital Image Primer Workshop
A third session of this workshop takes place on Friday, March 7 from noon to 12:50 p.m. Karen Kessel, Visual Resources Specialist for the Art Department, will offer the workshop for any interested students, faculty and staff who want to use digital images in e-portfolios, student papers, presentations, or online publications, but are not very familiar with digital technology.
Topics covered will be: the differences between the most common file formats and when to use which, tools for organizing and finding images, naming image files, maintaining color fidelity, and appropriate file sizes, with a hands-on demonstration of how to quickly resize batches of images. This fast-paced session will be held in Art 107, around the corner from the Art Gallery and across from the Art office. Space is limited, so for those who plan to attend, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
