This workshop is focused on the primacy of quality health practices (mental, physical, social, sexual) to survive and thrive in the 21st century/3rd Reconstruction. Whether you're on the frontlines or supporting the fight your health matters, your life matters.

Dr. Angelo Williams serves as a practitioner-professor of Sociology, African American/African Studies and Public Policy (Health, Education, Economic Development) at UC Davis, CSU Sacramento, Sacramento City, and Sierra Community Colleges while working as Deputy Director of the California Black Health Network, a 5013c advocating in communities and the Califonia State Legislature for Black Health Equity. Dr. Williams has served in a number of executive leadership roles including his tenure as a Gubernatorial Appointee and Assistant Vice Chancellor at the CA Community College Chancellors Office and Program Officer at the WK Kellogg Foundation. Dr. Williams was recently appointed to the California Department of Health's Office of Health Equity Advisory Board and serves on the Executive Board of the Los Rios College Teachers Federation.
