Join Art As Resistance for an evening with artivist Elizabeth Blancas as she shares her story and closes with a live screen printing session. Elizabeth will be discussing her journey as an artist working with her community and how she uses artwork as a tool for knowledge sharing, representation, etc. You will be able to walk away with your own screen printed poster of Elizabeth's work.

Elizabeth Blancas is a first generation queer Xicana artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She strives to use art as a tool for resistance as well as a celebration of her community. Elizabeth specializes in Muralismo and screen printing; exploring themes around culture, identity, womanhood and sexuality. Her work serves as a platform to empower lgbtq+ individuals and communities of color. Sponsored by MALCS de SSU.
