IT Web Office
The Web Office provides assistance to Sonoma State University faculty, staff, students, and authorized sponsored account holders in use of supported campus web servers. The Web Office maintains much of the IT website, and with University Affairs Division shares responsibility for maintaining the University's home page and top-level pages.
The Web Office is responsible for the technical implementation and maintenance of the University's website design templates and works with the University Web Team to develop and maintain the University's Web Standards. The Web Office also provides Web development and production services and assistance to SSU's divisions, schools and departments.
The Web Office is managed by Barbara Moore, and staffed day-to-day by dedicated student support staff.
Moodle Support Moved
- Moodle support for Faculty and other Moodle "teachers" and developers is now available in the Faculty Center, Schulz 1112.
- Moodle support for Students is now available at the IT Help Desk.
Hours & Location
The Web Office is located on the second floor of the library, south wing, east side (overlooking Darwin). We're tucked away in a hard-to-find location - on the Library's second floor map, look for Web Office at the top center of the image. Call ahead and we'll give you directions.

Web Office Consultants
The IT Help Desk can assist with most web-related matters: obtaining an account, connecting to the web server, service requests of all kinds, and basic troubleshooting. For all of these, call or drop-in to the IT Help Desk.
For more advanced web publishing issues which go beyond the support offered by the Help Desk, stop in and see the Web Consultant. This might include advice on different approaches to your project, what software will be most helpful, how to organize your site, and troubleshooting specific issues which the Help Desk was unable to resolve.
