Be prepared to realign your site's content, posting times, and amount of posts according to the results of your assessment. You can expect an evaluation schedule close to the one listed below.

Expect to spend at least 10 minutes a week evaluating your department's Facebook Insights. It's a good habit to set aside an hour or so each semester to develop plans for improvement.

Twitter

Depending on your goals for using Twitter, you could spend a lot of time using Hootsuite Analytics and/or Google Analytics to measure your impact. Setting up the reports will take between half an hour and several hours. Expect to spend at least 20 minutes per week reviewing the reports.  It's a good habit to set aside an hour or so each semester to develop plans for improvement.
