ADMISSIONS DECISION

December 1st - May 1st
Notification of admissions decisions begins on December 2nd and continues on a rolling basis. In order to secure a space with the university, the Enrollment Reservation and Mandatory Orientation Deposit is due by due by May 1, 2014 (refer to your letter of admission for due date.)

COMPLETE YOUR RESERVATION WITH SONOMA STATE UNIVERSITY

December 1st - May 1st (Refer to your letter of admission for due date)

Complete your reservation by purchasing Package 6 or 7 when you log onto your MySSU Online Services account. After purchase, finalize your Admissions acceptance through MySSU.

Refund Information: If you change your ming about attending Sonoma State University, you must notify the University in writing in order to receive a refund. THe Enrollment Reservation Deposit, Orientation, and Campus Housing Down Payment are 50% refundable if requested in writing by May 1, 2014; non-refundable thereafter. Email your refund request to seawolf.servicecenter@sonoma.edu.

SELECT AN ORIENTATION SESSION DATE

December 1st - May 1st
After completing yoru reservation by purchasing Package 6 or 7, log into your MySSU account to select a specific orientation session date. APPLY FOR CAMPUS HOUSING BY PAYING HOUSING DOWN PAYMENT

December 1st - Ongoing

To apply for campus housing, purchase Package 3 via your MySSU Online Services account. Payment date establishes housing priority. Housing down payment does not guarantee a space or specific assignment.

Refund Information: 50% refundable if requested in writing by May 1, 2014; non-refundable thereafter. Read more @ Housing

SUBMIT FINANCIAL AID MATERIAL

January 1st - March 2nd

The application process is free. The first step in applying for financial aid is to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at FAFSA using SSU's federal school code of 001156. Read more @ Financial Aid

SCHOLARSHIP MATERIAL DUE

(For Academic Year 2014-2015)
September 15th - January 15th

Scholarships range from $250 to $5000 per year. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater to apply for this program. Read more @ SSU Scholarship

ACCEPT CAMPUS HOUSING OFFER AND CHOOSE LIVING COMMUNITY

March 1 - Ongoing
Campus housing offers are sent electronically on a space available basis. Accept your offer to live on-campus and choose a living community by the designated deadline. Read more @ Housing

SUBMIT MANDATORY IMMUNIZATION RECORDS

March 30th - July 15th

All entering students must send copies of official immunization records showing they've received the required 2 dose series of Measles/Rubella (MMR) vaccine to the SSU Office of Admissions and Records prior to enrolling at SSU. Those who will be under age 19 on August 19, 2014 must also send records showing they've received the required series of 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine. Compliance is a mandatory condition of enrollment and should be completed no later than July 15th, 2014. Students unable to locate immunization records may send copies of blood test results confirming immunity to the diseases prevented by the required vaccines. Students who don't comply with this pre-enrollment requirement on time will have a Hold on their ability to register for classes and are subject to other late compliance penalties.

SSU SEAWOLF DECISION DAY

April 12th
Seawolf Decision Day is an open house for Fall 2014 admitted students. Come join us for Seawolf Decision Day and take a look at our campus, attend workshops, meet our faculty, staff and students, attend a campus fair, talk with your major departments, see student performances, and find out if SSU is the place for you! REGISTER FOR & ATTEND REQUIRED ORIENTATION

January - May
Transfer Orientation gives you an opportunity to meet with faculty, review information regarding how your credits will tarnsfer, plan your schedule and REGISTER FOR CLASSES. Transfer Orientation is a one-day required program where you will learn about graduation requirements, the registration process and satisfy our university policy that you will be advised before beginning your first semester. PAY YOUR MANDATORY REGISTRATION CHARGES

July 1st

If you begin the registration process from April 21 - Math 30th you must pay your mandatory registration charges by July 1, 2014. Even if schedule changes are planned, you must complete the registration process by paying the mandatory registration charges or an automatic disenrollment process will occur.

Financial Aid Students: If you have applied for financial aid and have received an offer from our Financial Aid Office by July 1, 2014, in an amount sufficient to cover your semester mandatory registration charges, the payment of your mandatory registration charges will be deferred until your first disbursement for Fall 2014. You will NOT be disenrolled. If you file your FAFSA after June 1st, 2014, you must front your Fall mandatory registration charges or your classes will be dropped in July.

SUBMIT FINAL TRANSCRIPTS

July 10th
Your offer of admission is contingent upon you meeting the specific admissions requirements outlined on your admission letter. It is mandatory that your spring college transcript is received in the Office of Admissions by July 10, 2014. Failure to submit your final college transcript will void your offer of admission. Request that all your Official Transcripts be mailed to:
